Superintendent Joseph Wise's letter to Brenda Priestly Jackson

Wise alleges three reasons that Priestly Jackson should step down:

1. “You have attempted to use your position to influence the placement of your husband, an employee of the district, into a position of higher pay and apparent status for which he was not best qualified.”
2. “You attempted to use your position to circumvent the school choice/magnet program by directing staff -- and then me -- to place two of your children in magnet schools for which there are extensive wait lists, and for which you had failed in any manner to comply with rules governing placement.”
3. “You continue to refuse to reimburse the school district for taxpayer funds you expended to subsidize your family vacation.”

Come and listen to my story about one school board,
one was Priestly-Jackson and how she roared
She lived in Orange Park, but daddy drove too far,
so they loaded up their car
and moved to Duval-
County that is-
She went from school to school to listen to their tales
and listened mostly hard to the schools who ranked as failed
She said "your problem is the lack of male teachers
Of course they must be black" was her main feature.
So then they changed the principal and some of his staff
The grade remained the same so it must be teaching staff,
it can't be the students, and we began to laugh, but older white teachers got transfer letters so they could bring in new blood to make the school better.
Some stayed for a year and left real quick - y'see they got their money, lickety split. Of course, all of a sudden, there were no F schools....makes you want to go hmmmm....no one questioned that!!!

But people got money, and all of a sudden, the next year, school failed again!!!!!!!!
