In Las Vegas, NV there is a county Commissioner named Lynette Boggs-McDonald who claimed she lived in one place but was found to be living in another outside her district. She too was renting a home just like this school board member as claimed and lived at another as this school board member says she does.

What happened was the lady in Las Vegas was removed from her post and brought up on federal Charges. This school board member faces the same fate. She lied to her people who voted her in and she by staying a school board member is teaching our youg people it is okay to lie and say more lies if it gets you what you want.

Even Bill Clinton said explain what is is when he was questioned about having sex with that woman in the Oval office. Bill Clinton lied and got caught. Lynette Boggs MaDonald, the former county Commissioner from Las Vegas lied and got caught.

Now this school board member has admitted to lying, with her own twist of justification and she got caught.

I can rent or lease a home in Jacksonviile. Run for and win election in that district. At the same time live with my family in Miami because i grew up in Southern Florida.

Brenda Priestly Jackson by her own omission is breaking the law every day she remains in office. She admits she does not live in her district. Only rents a home while living at another.

Living 5 miles out side your district or 2500 miles. Her main place of residence in her own words is still outside her district.

She needs to do the right thing and resign. Teach the children what is right and stop trying to justify why you are breaking the law.

A lot of elected officials have more han one home. Some in and some out of where they should stay...don't believe me, ask the mayor.

I certainly have no inside information, but according to the TU reports, Board Member Priestly-Jackson inherited her childhood home in 2005 upon the death of her father...well into her first term (she was elected 02 per the DCSB website). Do you not find it likely that she truly does live between the two? Should she have refused the inheritance, or sold the home...or never spend any time there? I think the real travesty is the fact that some hired employee has taken it upon himself to launch an investigation on an elected official who has diligently served this community well (I do not know Ms. Priestly-Jackson, never met her, don't live in her district). He is forsaking the job for which our district is spending huge amounts of money to run his own personal vendetta game. This is completely outrageous.
